The G11 Slinging and Signalling Course Includes:
G11 Training Program
- Module 1 – Work Environment, Responsibilities, and Consequences
- Module 2.3 – Lifting Gear – Theory
- Basic Practical Training
The theoretical training concludes with a classroom exam.
Optional Modules:
- G4 Overhead Crane
- G8 Truck-Mounted Crane
- G20 Fixed Hydraulic Crane

Duration:
24 lessons
Purpose:
The purpose of the training is to provide slingers, riggers, and signalers with solid basic instruction to prevent accidents during lifting operations. The training gives candidates a good understanding of the design, function, maintenance, and safe use of lifting equipment.
Further Education Path for Crane Operators:
After passing Module 2.3 – Lifting Gear (certified), candidates may continue with crane operator training by completing:
Module 2.7 or 2.8 – G4 Overhead Crane or G8 Truck-Mounted Crane or G20 Fixed Hydraulic Crane
Module 3.7 or 3.8 – Basic Practical Training G4, G8 or G20
Module 4.7 or 4.8 – Practical Driving Training G4, G8 or G20
The courses conclude with a practical test. Passing the test is the basis for issuing the crane operator certificate.
Module 4.7 or 4.8 can be completed at the workplace using Kurs og Sikkerhet’s mentoring program. Those who do not have this opportunity can attend one of Kurs og Sikkerhet’s practical courses.
